IAQ Certification Scheme
為確認良好的室內空氣質素管理工作 及 鼓勵處所/樓宇的業主或物業管理公司致力達到最佳級別的室內空氣質素，政府早於2000年實施「室內空氣質素管理計劃」，並於2003年推行自願參與的「辦公室及公眾場所室內空氣質素檢定計劃」（檢定計劃）
To recognise good IAQ management practices and provide incentives for owners of premises/buildings or property management companies to pursue the best level of IAQ, the Government implemented an IAQ Management Programme in 2000, and launched a voluntary IAQ Certification Scheme for Offices and Public Places (the “IAQ Certification Scheme”) in 2003.

採用兩個級別的室內空氣質素指標 「卓越級」及「良好級」，作為評估處所/樓宇室內空氣質素的基準
A 2-level IAQ objective (Excellent Class & Good Class) is used as the benchmark to assess IAQ of premises/buildings
以自願及自我規管的方式按年進行檢定工作
A voluntary and self-regulatory approach is adopted for annual certification
應處所/樓宇的業主或管理公司的要求，
室內空氣質素資訊中心會給予電子室內空氣質素標誌，使用電子標誌須跟從訂明的有關指引
IAQ Information Centre will issue an electronic IAQ logo to premises/building owners upon request. The use of the electronic IAQ logo should follow the prescribed guidelines
如符合室內空氣質素指標，證書簽發機構會向處所/樓宇的業主或管理公司發出檢定證書，以便他們向室內空氣質素資訊中心註冊。室內空氣質素資訊中心提供的有關證書和室內空氣質素標籤應張貼在當眼地方，

CIB will issue an IAQ certificate for premises/building owners or management to register with the IAQ Information Centre if the IAQ objectives are complied with. The certificate and IAQ labels provided by the IAQ Information Centre should be put up at a prominent location for the public information
參加計劃費用全免，但處所/樓宇的業主或管理公司須承擔相關費用，包括但不限於聘請室內空氣質素檢定證書簽發機構，評估處所/樓宇的室內空氣質素是否符合室內空氣質素指標
Participation is free but premises/building owners or management are responsible for all expenses, including but not limited to, employing accredited IAQ Certificate Issuing Bodies (CIB) to assess the IAQ of their premises/buildings against the IAQ objectives
檢定證書有效期為12個月。在續發證書方面，每五年需要重新量度整套室內空氣質素指標的參數，而期間的四年，若符合某些條件，每年只需量度指定參數
The certificate is valid for 12 months. For certificate renewal, a full set of parameters on IAQ objectives shall be measured/assessed once every 5 years, and for the 4 years in between, only selected parameters need to be measured/assessed annually if certain conditions are met
檢定工作一般是以整幢樓宇作為單位，但處所/樓宇的業主或管理公司亦可選擇只就樓宇的某部分或某些樓層進行檢定工作；
Certification is generally made on the basis
of a building as a unit.
Nevertheless, premises/building owners or management can choose to certify certain parts or certain floors of a building;
以及處所/樓宇的業主或管理公司須管理獲發證書後的室內空氣質素，確保室內空氣質素保持在檢定水平
and premises/building owners or management have to manage post-certification IAQ to ensure IAQ is maintained at the certified level
